TWL 100% Cheviot knitted ribbed hat

These double rolled 100% Cheviot ribbed hats will keep you warm and toasty, without overheating! Made with two strands of yarn held together - one of natural colour and one dyed - creates a mottled and unique twist on the conventional block colour hat.

Due to the stretchiness of the 'fisherman's' ribbed knit structure these hats are really versatile and fit a range of head sizes (we've had everyone from a 10 year old upwards in them...and even John the farmer with his lovely well-proportioned head has plenty of room in one!)

FLEECE & NATURAL FIBRES

Our North Country Cheviot fleeces come from Maria and John's own Lake District flock and the Heatherlea Cheviots from George and Sabrina Ross who are crofters in the Highlands.

PROCESSING

• Processed into yarn in Italy

For this yarn we worked with a highly regarded Italian spinner to push the boundaries of Cheviot wool use, re-introducing the wonders of quality British wool to a European audience, and benefitting from their immense knowledge of fine yarn spinning.
