North Country Cheviot Yarn
North Country Cheviot Yarn

This yarn is spun from the shearling wool of Joyce Campbell’s flock of Lairg-type North Country Cheviot sheep. Carefully sourced from a single farm, it reflects both the character of the fibre and the landscape in which it was grown.
The yarn has been developed in a small palette of colours drawn directly from the farm itself — tones that speak of land, season and flock rather than fashion. Shearling wool brings a particular clarity and resilience to the fibre, with a springy handle and excellent stitch definition.
Spun as a chunky 3-ply, this is a robust, versatile yarn well suited to outer garments, textured knitting and pieces intended for long use.
