Cheviot Wool Throws

from $187.00

Using renowned sheep farmer Joyce Campbell's Cheviot wool, we have created two throws that reflect her farmed landscape. Joyce works hard to produce top quality North Country Cheviots, but also to protect and enhance the land at Armadale Farm.

Armadale Farm is a 6,000 acre hill farm in Sutherland Scotland and having visited and taken photos of the heather and peat, these colours were used in the design of the tweed and throws. Another feature on the farm is a broch, a kind of Iron Age roundhouse found only in Scotland, so elements from this feature were also used in the designs by textile designer Louise Dixon.

The throws come with a beautiful handmade booklet that tells you about the Joyce, her farm and North Country Cheviot sheep.

The throws are approx. 2 metres by 1.5 metres.

100% Cheviot wool from Armadale Farm

All processing including grading, washing, spinning, dying, weaving and finishing are done in the North West of England, in Bradford, Huddersfield and Oldham.
